Thomson launch 2009 Lakes & Mountains preview brochure

Thomson Lakes & Mountains have launched their preview edition of next summer’s brochure featuring resorts in twelve European countries and holidays to scenic lakes, tranquil mountains, historic cities and beautiful coastlines, as well as tours, fly drives, river cruises, twin centre holidays and romantic weddings.

Thomson continues to offer free walking guide services in eight resorts ranging from gentle strolls through open pastures to more adventurous rambles along more challenging mountain terrain. The independent walking tours ‘Via Alpina’ and ‘Tirolean Walking’ in Austria and the ‘Bernese Oberland Walking’ in Switzerland are for anyone who are used to regular walking and have a good level of fitness. In Madeira, the ‘Three Peaks’ and ‘Lakes of Madeira’ are popular walks and in Spain, the ‘Malhacen Heights’ an the ‘Taste of Andalucia’ combines walking and sightseeing. Free walking maps for many resorts are included in the holiday price.
