Thomson revamps Long haul for 2008

Thomson's aim this year is to improve long haul service dramatically.  They recognise that the on-board environment makes all the difference between a good and a bad flight.

Thomson invites its customers to join its 'miles better club' when flying long haul which offers:

• More legroom in economy than BA and Virgin - a whopping 37 inches in premium and 33 inches in economy
• Leather seats and seat-back TVs
• New meals for 2008 created by our celebrity chef, Aldo Zilli
• Regional flying from 7 UK airports including Birmingham and Newcastle
• And from winter 2008/09, Thomson will offer in-flight meals on all long haul flights at no extra charge.*

 

New for Summer 2008 - Puerto Vallarta

On the west coast of Mexico and facing the Pacific Ocean, Puerto Vallarta is a new destination for Thomson and 14 night holidays will be on offer at affordable prices with departures from London Gatwick. 

Sample package: Stay at the 4T Riu Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta on an all-inclusive basis for 14 nights from £999 per person.  Departing from London Gatwick on 10 May 2008, price includes return flights, flight supplement, accommodation and resort transfers.

Cape Verde Islands - Boavista

From winter 2008/09, Thomson's second destination in the Cape Verde Islands will be available.  Boavista is dubbed the 'island of dunes' and, like the other islands of Cape Verde, is a destination that offers guaranteed sunshine all year round.  Located in the Atlantic Ocean between the African and South American continents, these islands offer a fascinating mix of Portugese, African and Brazilian cultures.  

Sample package:  Thomson is offering seven nights in Boavista from £475 per person at the all-inclusive Clubhotel Riu Karamboa based on two adults sharing a standard room with balcony, departing on 21 Nov 2008 from London Gatwick.

Florida

Thomson's Florida programmes starts on 14 March 2008, in time for Easter school holidays.  Attractions tickets are on sale at discounted prices for the first two weeks of January; adult prices are £179 for the 14 day ultimate ticket (a saving of £17) and an Orlando FlexTicket for 5 parks costs only £139 per adult (a saving of £13).
