Beaches
Down at sea level, a sheltered sand-and-shingle beach slopes into the sea; its excellent watersports make it very popular and crowded in high season. There's a quieter beach at St Paul's Bay 1km away - this bay is almost completely encircled by rocks, forming a large natural pool. Vlicha Bay is situated just outside Lindos and is the perfect spot for peace and relaxation. Its sand and shingle beach lines the horseshoe bay and there are a couple of shops, bars and restaurants.

There are a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes, ranging from traditional cuisine to good-quality Italian, Mexican and Chinese. There are even several fast-food options open until the early hours of the morning. Lindos has many bars, restaurants and tavernas, some of which rest on each other's rooftops. Discos and chic clubs line the narrow streets (regulations control the noise levels). You can also try your hand at a spot of late-evening shopping.
