Laid out like a traditional Greek village with typical Aegean architecture, a river running through it and its own sand and shingle beach, the Lindian Village is exceptionally authentic. This does not mean that modern amenities have been neglected: in fact, everything from internet access in the bedrooms to a choice of global cuisine is on offer. For a little diversity, the village of Lardos is just five kilometres away while Lindos is seven kilometres away, though it is unlikely you should want for anything at the Lindian Village.

Although travel brochures and photographs tend to be sugar-coated and show hotels in undeserving bliss, the Lindian Village really looks as the pictures of the hotel suggest: a nice, spacious area with an artificial river and lake, a great pool area... more on this review
