Villa Thea

This charming villa is really unusual. It's actually made up of two small but really comfortable houses separated by paved courtyards, so it's ideal for families or friends looking for a little privacy. A special feature is an old olive press that sits between the two houses, and there's a children's play area complete with a slide and swing to keep the little ones amused. In terms of its location, well, it's impressive to say the least. It's set up on a hilltop and offers up great views of the sparkling sea and the rugged mountain peaks. What's more, there's a blissful sense of seclusion about the place. You can stretch out on the sun terrace and hear nothing but chirruping birds. But the great thing is, it's still really accessible to all the local amenities. Kassiopi's just a five minute drive away, and here you'll find shops, bars and restaurants as well as a small shingle beach that melts into crystal waters.

Back at the villa, you'll find all the things you need for a comfortable break, including a washing machine, dishwasher, TV and DVD player. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned as well, so you don't have to worry about hot and sticky, sleep-free nights. Perhaps the piece de resistance, if you like, is the pool area. It's really spacious and comes complete with all the things you need to unwind, like sunbeds, parasols, a barbecue and table and chairs. So, breathe easy and cram in as much R&R as your heart desires. That, surely, is what a holiday's all about.
